Make working on your goals much easier with these simple tools for success.
Imagining yourself where you want to be this time next year is wonderful. The key though to making your dream come true is working on it every day.
First, you have to clarify what your goals are. You should break them into:
your long-term goal—what you want to achieve over the next year or more
your mid-term goal—what you will achieve in the next 6 months to get you to your long-term goals
your short-term goal—what you'll achieve in the next 30 days.
From there, you need to come up with 3-4 weekly tasks that will get you to your short-term goal. You can change up the tasks each week or just focus solely on doing the 3 or 4 you selected in the first week.
It's pretty simple to assign yourself tasks each week. It's another thing to actually do them.
Take it from me, it's a lot easier to work on your goals when you have the right tools. That includes... ✅ Blocking your calendar out at the beginning of each week—schedule your tasks for the week ✅ Scheduling in self-care time first before your other tasks—working on your goals is self-care! ✅ Breaking your work tasks into deep focus and lighter tasks—do your deep focus work at your optimal energy times ✅ Using a timer to focus—the Pomodoro Technique is great for that ✅ Listening to music to focus—just search for that term exactly and you'll find some gems ✅ Organizing your phone, iPad, and computer for max productivity—there are lots of great wallpapers and widgets to help you do that ✅ Decluttering your workspace—get rid of those papers and extra thingies taking up space and decorate your desk and office in a way that makes you feel calm The Get Your Tools for Success workshop is the perfect way to learn how to set yourself up for success through stress-free scheduling, calm planning, and setting limits that get you to where you want to be right away. It's happening Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2023 at 3pm Eastern/12pm Pacific on Zoom.
